  • More Active Businesses

    Recommended Posts

With 70 plus Businesses and only the same ones really are open and then not much. ( like a dozen actually open )
Should have more phone stores also and allow more people to be hired at shops
And a delivery vehicle with a higher storage weight to do deliveries on a more timely order and less trips
Would also bring more jobs around and less crime.
Give the inactive shop to people who want them and would make more interaction in the world

So this is something that has been brought up a few times and it seems like they are working diligently to resolve inactive housing and businesses. We as the community, have to keep in mind that if they warn someone that they will lose there business (due to inactivity, same with the houses), that person will probably come back for like a week and then disappear again. This results in the management team not having much fire power to remove the property from that person, as sadly they did pay their rent on the property or have recently used it.  I totally agree with you, I think any inactive businesses need to just be granted to another active individual. At this point its crazy how hard it is to find an open shop, I think there are a lot of people who would devote their time to running a business and having some good RP come from it. Hopefully we see more open soon. Keep in mind you don't just a get a business because you decide one day that you want one, you need to prove that you deserve to run that, and that you have the necessary components to make it successful.

    • 2 weeks later...

The issue I see here is one of time and resources.  People submit all these grand things to do with businesses but then they peter out after 2 weeks.  Take the vanilla unicorn for example.  There have probably been 30 "grand openings" this year just because people get it and do something with it for 2 weeks and then disappear.  It would literally take an admin committing to this as a full time job to do nothing but monitor inactive businesses and houses.  I think they do a great job of getting to it when they can but its really just an impossible task to keep up with.
