What happened to the population in Queens?

I rejoined the PD back in April of this year. I became a probie Officer and was allowed to patrol solo in Queens. Queens was a server that was always populated. In the past 6 weeks it has gone from 40 plus to less than 8 players. Can we have a discussion about what you think caused the population of Queens to drop so quickly?

 

Several people told me the Police giving tickets for under glow and ticky-tack things having to do with vehicles is an issue. Those I spoke to didn't talk about much else being the issue. I hope Queens gains it's population back soon.

I don't think anyone really wants to see a big queens come back.  The whole point was to get people into Brooklyn.  IMO good riddance to GTA Online.

With the way the system is set up currently, that would be a terrible thing.  Right now, new people joining the community have to spend 2 weeks in queens.  That's 2 weeks with basically no RP in a dead server.  Unless you know someone from the server already, chances are you are NOT sticking around for that.  If the current whitelist system doesn't change, or queens doesn't get some of it's pop back, the community will just die off.  This needs to be discussed!

I agree with this 100%, Queens will prevent this community from getting new members if its not fixed. I went into queens last night because I finally talked a friend into playing BigCityRp and the FIRST THING that happened to us was we got gunned down by like 5 people at a gas station while I was trying to show him the ropes. Queens is basically GTA online at this point, thankfully I have access to Brooklyn, but my friend does not and has to deal with queens for 14 days considering I can keep his interest in the server for that long.
