    I would like to suggest that we revert all the changes done to vehicle handling back to classic GTA online handling/Damage etc.

    Hear me out, our vehicles are all out of wack, and you don't believe this then you are on something else. No offense.

     

    We have vehicles that you sneeze on, and they break.

    We have vehicles that if you reverse accidentally 3mph into a trash can and it breaks.

    We have vehicles that go Mach fuck on a straight away.

    We have vehicles that roll on a simple right turn.

    We have vehicles that the slightest adjustment to the steering wheel you are saying hello to the person beside you from their back seat.

    We have vehicles with the smallest amount of speed going over a hill, will become the next Nelly Furtado tryin to fly like a bird.

     

    The vehicles are fubar'd and at this point, I don't think there is any way to fix it, without just completely restarting. (INCLUDING THE PD CARS, Why do you think every cop drives the charger? Its OP)

    Now yes ;; "WhAt AbOuT ThE ImPoRtS" (We could just get rid of them...) Just kidding, Sorta. I know that would cause an uproar. People need to spend their money on something.

     

    Well, the imports, while they don't have a base level to work from. They can still be modified, as far as I'm aware (and people could comment here otherwise) the imports handing isn't too terrible. The recent change to the speeds was good, I think it needs adjusted again just slightly. Everything reduced if everything was reverted. I'm sure some people would love to help out on some testing to help fix these vehicles. Surely it will take some time. But I strongly believe its needed.

     

    Please, leave your comments below, I would really like to hear everyone's opinions on the state of the vehicles in BCRP, and possible if enough people can agree on it we can aim toward a change for the better of roleplay.

    I'll agree with "every car needs a fix" but that, development wise would take quite some time, to take each individual car and fix it. 

     

    Even if fixing it were to be just changing 1 value on one line of code, imagine doing that for 200+ cars and all their variants?

    AND THEN imagine if that line were different for every single car..... 

     

    The honest easiest way to start fixing all the vehicles is to yes, revert them back to vanilla GTA settings. The imports would for a MOMENT have to be removed and then a good hard look would have to be taken on what gets imported back in.

    Just to show you how bad some cars are, there are cars that OUTRUN A FUCKING HELLICOPTER!!!

     

    Even irl supercars don't go faster than helicopters, how else do you think they get those awesome track shots for videos? 

     

    And lets be honest, "supercar rp" is very VERY bottom of the barrel. 

    Have some nice imports, have some realistic speeds and allow people to actually have fun showing off SKILL and not speed.

    Imagine the possibilities if players actually drove realistically for a change!

    If we could get players to do anything realistic for a change would be great LOL but thats another topic.. i agree vanilla gta settings with some minor adjuments for a few vehicles, alot of imports are based off of gta cars as well, not sure if they fit into the same scripts or how the scripts work but i agree with the topic!

    Personally, I have hardly dealt with vehicles in which breaks too easily, but there are vehicles are just a bit too strong for driving, especially when you can just play bumper cars with police officers and then drive off without the engine indicator showing.

     

    I think it would be easier if the developers check which cars are too stronger or too weak and tweak their strength.

    I may commit murder.


    Committing to these changes may require consistent, direct and specific information to be given to Nardah as what Soledad said.
    We'll definitely need to revert to a baseline before we can start the changes and it would take a hot minute to fully incorporate.

    I think if anything cars need to be stronger and just an opinion as per how the real world works. Although its unfortunate there are just some cars that people with money will have that blow police cars out of the water my example being lets say you put a race engine fully tuned buggati up against the fastest cop car in the state of New York that Buggati will blow it out of the water the perks to being a successful criminal come in the form of high preforming luxury items, cars, weapons , security just to name a few im down to talk about this in anyone would like to discuss but its just true and if anyone wants to talk about the other things I named as possible incorporations to criminals assets we can talk about that as well. my email is packed#7209

    I agree I be getting that engine light every two seconds but maybe not get rid of imports just make them harder to get but also its about hard to do that with this dogshit economy

    Take out all the add on cars EVEN THE PD CARS. Swap all the imports with base GTA 5 supercars. For the PD cars turn um into default GTA 5 Cop cars, IT WILL LOOK CRINGY, but hay if the other half of the community can only get base GTA 5 cars so should we, this does mean that we could not fuck around with the default GTA cop cars to  fit the pd needs no. This change would also help the server in terms of texture loss / pot wholes that ppl experience. Good idea imo

    I legitimately giggled at this.  I wasn't aware the charger is "OP".  How so?  I want to be let in on this secret!  The Taurus on the other hand...It slaps!

    The taurus can outrun the speed unit, which legitimately makes no sense.

    the charger, is just the best all around PD car we have. It sticks to the ground when it needs to, it can turn pretty easy. the speed is not terrible (most super cars still outun it tho) and it can take a damn beating.

    the other day i was in training and thought lets take out the taurus for a change so the cadets have an extra unit to use 
    i dint know it was SO much faster then the speed unit . but holy hell is that thing insane vs the speed unit 
    and the speed units sole purpose is to be SPEEDY hence speed unit 
    no transport no nothing with it 
    Jamie reynolds is a insane driver and i would claim him to be top 10 in bcrp and that man can barely outdrive the other units 
    makes no sence 

    charger indeed is best pd car for all reasons mentioned

    I agree its totaly out of wack !
    i drive the raptor because i like it and for me it seems balanced for my style of driving . its not to OP with my skillset and its nice offroad
    Now the MOTOR UNIT is TRASH 
     and CRUNCH NARDAH AND JUSTINE know about this because its being brought up ALLOT 
    but when i hear a half broken explorer say  " on youre left "  
    while im popping wheely's left n right to keep up with a sanchez u know something is extremely wrong 
    the motor unit is meant to combat motorcycle's but tbh its better to keep out of the way of secondary and just stop the pursuit .
    out of all the chases i been in with the motor  unit never have i been able to actualy help other then lose eyes 
    the thing has a turning radius BIGGER then the raptor . it brakes like its on ice
    Now i was in a chase with the same bike but then civilian and the person sends it up a mountain 
    i would asume if they could i could . but no  no 
    once u hit dirt with a slope with the motor unit it brakes faster then when u actualy use the brakes ( how does that even makes sence ?)
    and i tested it . its slower in aceleration then the pd crownvic
    that brings me to the crownvic
    the retired civilian is faster then the pd one . imagine that 
    the car retires and suddenly it gains the abbility to be driving better in every way

    ballance is needed and idc how its achieved
